My RAU experience
I studied BSc (Hons) International Equine and Agricultural Business Management at the Royal Agricultural University and developed a keen interest in the management of ruralbased businesses; so much so that I decided to stay on to study for an MSc in Business Management.
I chose the University for its excellent facilities, warm and sociable atmosphere, and its reputation for being the best university of its type in the country. There is variety in the styles of teaching by lecturers, and guest speakers from different industries help to provide varying perspectives. You can tailor your studies to suit your interests; I chose modules in equine management and rural business.

What I gained from the RAU
On graduation, I joined the British Horse racing Authority’s Graduate Development Programme, which included a work placement with Tattersalls and led me to my first job working for a bloodstock media company in Newmarket. I stayed in that job for two years, before moving on to become Editor of the highly regarded trade magazine, Equestrian Business Monthly.
I know I made the right decision to continue my learning at the Royal Agricultural University to a postgraduate level, and I fully recommend this course to anybody wishing to further their education in business management studies.
