Delegates from Australia and New Zealand were among a group of 18 who attended the Worshipful Company of Farmers Advanced Course in Agricultural Business Management this month.
The three week residential course, which is hosted annually at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU), is aimed at managers of businesses within the agricultural industry.
Through seminars, group discussions and case studies, the delegates have the opportunity to further their knowledge in all elements of farm business management.
The final sessions included an interactive 'Question Time' debate on ‘Defining Agriculture's Future’. The panel comprised of George Dunn - Tenant Farmers Association, Dr David Drew MP, Julian Sayers - Chair and Master of The Worshipful Company of Farmers, Minette Batters - NFU and David Bolton – Junior Warden of the Worshipful Company of Farmers.

*The group photograph was taken in the RAU’s Tithe Barn. Once an agricultural chemistry laboratory where potassium was first discovered to be an essential crop nutrient, today it is used as a spacious student meeting place and venue for courses.
