Dame Fiona Reynolds, Chair of the Governing Council of the RAU, has announced the Council’s decision that Professor Peter McCaffery’s appointment as Vice-Chancellor will run until the end of August 2024.

Towards the end of this period the Council will recruit externally for the next Vice-Chancellor. 

Fiona said: “Peter’s knowledge and experience in university leadership and management are invaluable to the RAU, and we look forward to working with him as we fulfil our mission for sustainable land use through our teaching and research, providing fresh perspectives for the land, agri-food and rural enterprise sectors.”
