Biography
Senior Lecturer, Building Technology and Surveying.
I joined the RAU in September of 2021 as a Senior Lecturer in Real Estate and Land Management.
I am an experienced Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader who transitioned into academia following over
15 years in architectural practice in Canada. I now have over 18 years of post-secondary teaching experience, having held posts at three previous UK-based universities.
I specialise in the subjects of building technology, building performance, building management and construction management. I have a particular interest in sustainable building practices, and also the impact of building regulations on building design, performance and user well-being.
