Tuition fees
If you are an Irish national living in the UK or Ireland, you may be eligible for home fees and funding under the Higher Education (Fee Limit Condition) (England) Regulations 2017 (as amended) (S.I. 2017 No.1189) and the Education (Fees and Awards) (England) Regulations 2007 (as amended) (S.I. 2007 No.779).

First check category ‘3 years in Republic of Ireland/UK/Islands, settled in UK’ or ‘Brexit temporary offer for courses starting before 2028: Irish citizens with residence in Europe or overseas territories’.

Scholarships
The Royal Agricultural University offers a number of scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of subject areas. In addition to this, a number of external organisations grant awards which may be of interest to RAU applicants.

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide. For individual course requirements, please refer to the course pages.
Undergraduate (Bachelor's degree)
Successful completion of the Leaving Certificate passed at Higher / Honours level with a minimum 3H4+2H3. Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements. Applicants are advised to check the course page, and/or conditions stated in the offer letter.

- MScR - Applicants require a UK honours degree at Upper Second Class or higher or equivalent qualification
- PhD - Applicants require a Master's degree or equivalent
- Mature candidates with significant relevant work experience and lower academic qualifications may also be considered for entry, following personal interview with the Director of Research
