Why did you choose to study this course at the RAU?
Both my father and grandfather studied here, it also seemed to be in a lovely location and have a nice sized student body. My course also seemed like the perfect fit for my career aspirations.
What is the best part about this course for you?
Crop production modules are the most interesting for me, also some modules surrounding agricultural finance and agricultural policy. I feel as though these modules are going to be the most helpful for me going into a career in farm management. The lecturers are all very helpful when it comes to helping with research or going over coursework on a one-on-one basis.
What are you enjoying most about studying at the RAU?
As I stated previously, there are a couple of interesting modules that stand out for me. Other than the course itself, other students and lecturers are very helpful which encourages me and my peers to push for better marks in coursework and exams alike.
What would you say to a prospective student thinking about choosing your course at the RAU?
Broadly speaking, if you're interested in farm management as a career, or you're wanting to know more about how an agricultural business runs with more emphasis on the business side then you will thoroughly enjoy Applied Farm Management.
