Why did you choose to study this course at the RAU?

I chose to come to the RAU to study Real Estate because the course has a good reputation. From attending the open day, I felt that all the lecturers were passionate about the course and this inspired me to pursue a career in the property sector. I was also interested in the variety of modules the course had to offer, as I was not sure what area I wanted to specialise in. 

What is the best part about this course for you? 

I like how practical the course is. The fact that the coursework we are set emulates work which we will face in practice, such as producing valuation reports, is extremely useful. This also gives you something to talk about when undertaking work experience and placements which makes you stand out to potential employers. 

What are you enjoying the most about studying at the RAU?

The fact that the RAU is like a family. You are not a number at this university. I like the fact that all the lecturers know your name and are more than happy to help with coursework, exam and work placement queries. The lecturers really do make the course. 

What would you say to a prospective student thinking about choosing your course at the RAU?

If you have an interest in property, Real Estate at the RAU is the perfect course for you. The course covers a variety of different aspects relating to the property profession. It is also very career driven and provides you with the opportunity to become a chartered surveyor.
