I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the MSc Rural estate Management course, which is interesting, thorough, and well structured. I've met a lot of likeminded friends who will invariably also become the future key players in the agricultural and land agency industries.
The course at the RAU has provided me with a strong knowledge base.
The course at the RAU has provided me with a strong knowledge base on which I hope to continue to build on over the coming years. The careers advice and help you receive from the lecturers is integral in ensuring you're best placed to get, and then performing well in, interviews.
I was also able to enjoy the social side of the University, playing rugby for the 1st XV.
I am currently working on the family farm in Norfolk, until I start my job as a land agent for Strutt and Parker in Chelmsford in September. I plan to undertake my Assessed Professional Competence (APC) and Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV), and then progress through the ranks from there.
