We have this new novel MBA in water management driven by industry and practitioners looking at a holistic view of integrated water management and the importance of water resources.

What's unique about this new MBA in Water Management, with a collaboration between WRC and the RAU, is our 100 years of expertise in water and waste management, and also the RAU's focus on the interface with how that impacts the environment.

By taking part in this course you as an individual have a really unique opportunity to use your research and innovation to address some of the world's most challenging issues, such as climate change and water scarcity. You also support in meeting the UK's ambitious target to become an innovation hub by 2035.  

Students will look at sustainable water resources management and practices. The technologies that water utilities need to be looking at, the economic and financial impact, both governments and government agencies have to deal with in addressing water scarcity, water resilience, wastewater management as a critical infrastructure across the globe. The future is all about water management. What's quite important for future leaders is to be aware of energy, water, food nexus, business, as well as environment mental strategies and use the alternative innovative solutions for the future.

Students will have access to fantastic facilities including the library, refurbished labs and Farm 491, learning from best practice and entrepreneurship where Farm 491 gives students those access to ongoing business, and at the WRC practices with ongoing projects working with engineers, scientists and operational managers on live case studies, and part of the MBA would also include stakeholders such as Wessex Water, Severn Trent, the Environment Agency. Field trips to these critical infrastructure giving students the real case scenarios for this programme.

I think students who enrol in this MBA would be well placed to find employment within the water, wastewater utilities globally as well as the consultancy side and operational management side for various industries across the storm water sector the clean water portable water supply, as well as the wastewater industry globally.
