Accommodation FAQs

Here are a few of the questions we get asked most frequently about accommodation at the RAU.

About Land and Property

Join a powerful network of graduates who have gone on to work around the world and at major organisations such as Savills, Strutt and Parker, Knight Frank, Fisher German and Deloitte Real Estate.

About Equine Management and Science

Based in the Cotswolds, you are ideally positioned to take full advantage of world-leading sporting venues, including Cheltenham Racecourse and Badminton Horse Trials.

About Agriculture studies

Whether you aspire to become an agricultural entrepreneur, a farm manager, adviser, consultant, or scientist, you will benefit from both hands-on practical experience and in-depth technical knowledge on a course that evolves with the input of industry advisers.

Foundation degrees (FdSc)

A Foundation degree is a two year vocational higher education qualification, which equates to the first two years of a Bachelor’s degree.

These courses are a qualification in their own right. They are ideal if you aren’t sure if you want to commit to taking a full degree, or if you don’t have the traditional entry requirements for a Bachelor’s degree.  Foundation degrees are designed for those who wish to develop their skills in the workplace and grow their academic abilities at the same time. They are designed to be practical with an emphasis on ‘hands-on’ experience.
