Biography 

Senior Lecturer in Equine Health.

 

I combine teaching Equine Health at the RAU with my work as a practising equine veterinarian in a large veterinary services provider where I am also the Equine Development Lead.

Associate Professor in HR, OB and PPDP.

Dr Carol Yongmei Zhang joined in RAU in Oct 2010. Currently, she is a senior lecturer of HRM, Organisational Behaviour and Personal & Professional Development Planning in Business & Entrepreneurship.

International students

We’re proud of our diverse community at the RAU and welcome students from across the globe.

We have students from 46 countries studying in Cirencester, plus over 1,700 students studying with our Chinese partnerships, and 160 students at the International Agricultural University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The RAU has strong links around the world. Overseas universities, Government bodies, and organisations have forged strong connections with the RAU. Graduates have gone on to work for governments, influential companies, and to set up their own businesses.

Jason Makepeace

Biography 

Jason was appointed as an Independent Governor in February 2022.

Jason has worked in Government and public sector transformation for 20 years. He is currently an interim Government leader, applying emerging science and technology to strengthen global resilience. He is a non-executive director of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, a digital advisor to the board of Access Social Care, and a Government and charities advisor to Cheltenham’s Golden Valley development and CyNam.
